Happy happy fun times for summer. Minus my boyfriend getting grounded for two weeks it's been pretty sweet deals. I'm like way too tired after work to move but ya know the nights have been great. I went from hard Bacardi shooters to Mikes hard lemonade as preferences and have cut back on other things I'll leave out as self incrimination LAWL. As far as drawings go... My tablet has become peanuts to use. Just in general though, I haven't actually done a lot of coloring. Just mostly lines and practise. I'm drawing though so I suppose that's all that matters. Less then I had hoped. But I don't think anyone is seriously complaining. I'll update when I can and get some fan art in some time soon. Hope everyones summer is as eventful as mine. <3

Yeah, it's about time I attempt a couple since they weren't particularly good when I wasn't in a rut and this is just going to add to the fire. I think I'll just start with some pencil sketches so you guys might not actually see them depending on how horribly disfigured they are. But you never know, I mean I could not royally suck but no promises, kay? And one of these days I might actually take my time with a photo shopped picture because I always crap out directly after the hair. I swear to god that's the only thing I take my time on. Grr.
THE METAL FERRET
Practice practice practice. You know ... whatever kind of person said that really didn't have much of a social life. Cuz' you know, since summer started I've had like two days for kickback and been buzzing around otherwise. It's getting pretty hectic. AND soon I'll be babysitting Lucy(Short for Lucifer) the metal ferret. It's going to be sooooo fucking awesome to have that around. She's the cutest thing, this side the planet. My room is going to smell like urine for two weeks but you win some you lose some. And yes, she is THE metal ferret. Long story short her owner is a crazy metal head like wise and is going away for a couple weeks and needs moi to baby sit. Cuz' his incompetent friends would fuck up. And I'm just way more awesome. (Sometimes I feel like a groupie without the slut)
JOB
I'm working finally.. since like last Thursday me thinks. And I'm getting paid sometime next week but besides the point.. Does anyone else Buss/Wait in a restaurant? Kay well, my first couple shifts were late night, so it was peanuts. Weeeeeeeell I just had my first lunch time shift and christ did we ever feel under-staffed. @_@ I was like.. dead by the end and it was only a four hour shift. It wouldn't be worth it if I didn't make tips.

Now, this is DA so I'm not positive this is quite the right group setting I'm used to. But this summer opposed to last summer and even the summer before that has completely gone crazy with alcohol. It's not even the fact that I hang out with junkies and addicts it's the fact that everything has just straight out stopped to a hault (Everything feels sort of dead)and there's nothing to do so bring on the intoxication. And don't get me wrong, I'm not denying I have a Itty-witty-dependency problem but I'm working now so I've cut back on my summer time activities. But man oh man, alcoholics arn't half as fun if you're not one too. xD
BRACES
Getting them off soon. I mean, like two months after I had them on my teeth were corrected in shape so I didn't look like a deformity. But to keep them on ANOTHER year after they looked fine? I was hurting. Tehee, I literally have people come up to me and ask about my yearbook photos and how much I've changed. It's literally that noticeable. But any ways, in about two weeks they'll be off and in another month and a half I'll in my last year of high school. So I'm basically realizing how much time has passed. It's really scary actually because not even half a year ago I was going into second semester honor standing. And lets just say something happened and by the end of it I was only enrolled in two classes, and failing one. But you know... I'm getting my braces off!! Haha. I only need like 4-5 credits any ways though. Comes from all those years of hard work and dedication. *Snicker*
COLLAGE
This summer I'm making a huge scrap book type thing with friends and stuff because I have quite a few grade 12-ers that are either getting jobs or going off to college, so you'll probably get the edited versions and what not. Be prepared to see the photography of an un-experienced teenager with a cheap digital camera at work. It's going to be mostly emo-kids cam-whoring and mall rat trips, but w/e. Oh and don't forget male topless fighting, My group is distinguished (Or rather my boyfriend and Mike) for taking off their clothes in public. =3

Well alrighty then. So I got to thinking in the past month since we got the internet back that I had been forgetting something. I logged onto msn with over 100 emails (Mostly chain letters, I hate you all)and just recently got a facebook so other then that I couldn't quite put my finger on it. Then it kind of hit me like a brick when our art teacher threw on the final project with 3-1/2 weeks of school left that "Hey, I haven't drawn in like half a year" (take into consideration nothing in my gallery was really new, it was all stuff I had neclected to ink)now, any artist in their right mind is shaking their head right now. But a lot of shit happened in that time and drawing in general kind of depressed me so I stopped. I also quit soccer as of this year and took up some little habits.
Aside from that, what with vacation being here and all, I'm going to need to fill my days with something so I'm going to pick up the pencil (or tablet pen rather, since my scanner needs to be re-installed)and start drawing again. Whee. And maybe hopefully I'll pick it up fast so I don't have to plague my gallery with shitty attempts like you'll probably see in the next couple days. It's going to be all tablet for a while. (Yeah, the broken thing I bitched about before) and it probably won't be pretty but I'm sure if you've put up with me this long and kept me on the watch list (or forgot I was there) it won't be a problem.

Eh. As far as the rest of my summer will go, I just recently got a job, I'll be going out to b.c and dauphin a little bit and the rest of the time I'll be hanging out with my friends/boyfriend, going to the forks/beach, chilling at Adams, moving out, and perhaps I'll take a break from a few things because I just don't have that kind of money right now.

Eh, during my absence the only time I did draw was school related, my friend and I got together and came up with some new OC's so that's going to be my practise for a while. My gallery may very well be flooded with them. Love them or hate them there might be some pages. I just wouldn't hold me to it, cause I have issues with following through on things.

I'm working Thursday and Saturday, meaning if I do what I usually do on fridays I'm going to right fuck myself over. So as ... lets say an apology (Because 'not getting myself fired' sounds a bit conceited) for neglecting my gallery I'm going to spend the night at home to practise on PS. Hopefully it won't take more than a week to get back into it, and maybe I'll get addicted to it again.
